is — allegedly — the first step. I have a bulb problem. At this time of year I find myself unable to pass by any sort of display that offers them at half price —

especially the mixed packs in the useful little stacking crates in an assortment that makes it just too easy to do a large raised bed.

It’s all the classic (well, decided by a bunch of people who say you are ALWAYS an addict even when you tackle and surmount a problem) symptoms. Thinking about it when you wake up. Paying cash so nobody knows how much you are spending. Throwing away the evidence right away. Planting as quickly as you can. Only during the week.

But, I will be rewarded in the spring

and it won’t be a problem THEN.

And y’know what? I will do the same next fall.

And the next.
