Happy Hawai’i Day

We started celebrating our own Hawai’i Day on Boxing Day of 2004. That was the year of our first trip: we wore our Hilo Hattie clothes, had Hawai’ian themed food and drinks and sorted out our pictures. With the exception of ’07 (New Zealand) and ’08 (Australia) we have holed up in our flat/house, cranked up the heat and spent the day ignoring the horrid UK weather and kibitzed about our next trip to one of our favourite spots on earth. We were there last December and are thinking 2012 for the next trip.

Cold, wet, dreary Fife or Molokai?

(Really – which would you chose today?).
